Yes, after longer than wanted hiatus I am here to tell all my readers that 2 rare El Brendel features will be screened next week at the final Cinefest. I have been going to this festival for about 12 years now and when word came down late last year that this would be the final Cinefest, I was heartbroken. I clearly understood the reasons the Syracuse Cinephile Society.

Isnt it an antiquated technology? DVDs are quicker and easier, but film has a beautiful quality all its own. A good film print is sharper than a blu-ray! Plus, there are many vintage films that arent available in any digital format! I have 16mm and 35mm projectors, and a vast collection of rare film available for programs. Gelegt, gesucht, gefunden. Die filmernsten Osternester wurden ja vorfristig nicht nur versteckt, sondern mittlerweile auch schon gesucht und gefunden. Kaum hatten wir den Rundbrief mit den Überraschungseiern losgeschickt, erreichten uns erstaunlich viele Rückmeldungen, so dass wir, leider, bei weitem nicht alle Wünsche erfüllen können.
